Plot Predictions?

Intelligence placed the Red Riding Hood beside the rumored Aquaman, then killed off his's wife Amelia in the first episode. Anyone sense any paramour relationships on the way? Will this be another Castle? Romantic/crime/science-fiction/action/drama?

Thoughts?

I don't know. Something tells me that we might see Amelia in the future, Riley Gabriel thing won't happen right away since he is still mad at her for not letting him help Amelia. I think they may have closed Amelia chapter with Riley & Gabriel in mind.

I guess we are going to have to wait and see. Let's hope the show will last that long.

Huh. Maybe. From the looks of the ratings, from 16 mil in "Pilot" to 6 mil plunge in episode 2... I dunno whether they will have a full season or not. It's too early to tell.

Riley and Gabriel is, somewhat like, Castle and Beckett in the first season, without the fun flirting and irritating-each-other part. I guess in episode 3 they might work on closures.

Hey, Amelia is dead, right? She 'ate' the explosive and in theory, it should have detonated 'inside' her, right? I don't see a possible explanation of how Amelia can survive the explosion other than "some folks with kick-ass 'blink'ing powers arrived suddenly and teleported her organic body away without the explosive inside her".

I guess the future trending should mainly between Riley and Gabriel. Thoughts?

In these sort of stories you can't think someone is dead until you see a deadbody, in this case what's left of it. My theory is she never swallowed the bomb. She just wanted Gabriel to think she died in the explosion. I don't know why they closed off Amelia chapter so early.  We are going to wait and see what will happen to Riley & Gabriel.

I love Castle too. I can't believe that they put Intelligence on the same time slot. That was so not cool.

Not "not" cool. Not in China. Not for me. I got class to attend to during the day, and it joys me to 'harvest' all the cool U.S. TV series broadcasted during the day. The more, the merrier. Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human broadcast the same day as Castle and Intelligence, that adds the fun of harvesting in one day. And those awards shows? (I pretend one of my avatars is sitting on scene at the darkest, most inconspicuous point with the clearest view - preferably near the ceiling, or on the chandelier, or on the topest floor, carrying a long-range sniper rifle with black-ray hi-def recorder, hidden in plain sight and record the whole party) They provide abundant new shows to my watchlist.

And as for Amelia, I guess you are absolutely correct. I have watched enough 24 to realize that no death can be confirmed without the dead body. And maybe cannot confirm even with the body. But maybe Amelia's "explosion" is the writer's way of "clearing the path" for Riley :). An mission-required-to-be-married "wife" can be troublesome. And if that "clearing the path" statement really plays out, I just hope Amelia can "stay" dead to not haunt Gabriel in the future.

What did you think about the latest episode? Do you think this series would survive?

Hey, I'd like to guess so. Maybe not as long as How I Met Your Mother or The Big Bang Theory, but maybe at least one season can complete full circle. The ratings are still dropping, though.

Only three episodes aired. Too early to tell.

Thoughts?

I don't know. I wish it would survive. They should have left it at Tuesday time slot.
